Our funders and donors play a vital role in our international development work by choosing to invest in a fairer world.
These institutions and individuals support global development, environmental sustainability and social justice. CUSO-VSO is funded by the Canadian government through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and by the VSO Federation, institutional and foundation funders, and over 30,000 individual donors in North America and around the world.
Give, for a change
By supporting our work, contributors to CUSO-VSO are making a world of difference to communities in over 40 countries around the world. Our donors support overseas volunteers as they work collaboratively with those affected by poverty, AIDS, environmental degradation, human rights offences and natural disasters.
Donors give from the heart, and many have been supporting international volunteering for decades. We promise to work hard to ensure donors’ dollars support long-term solutions on the frontlines of international development. Many donors and institutional funders have been very loyal in their commitment to our work, and remain steadfast members of the CUSO-VSO community for decades. Some donors even choose to leave part of their estate to CUSO-VSO. This dedication has sustained us since 1961.
