CUSO-VSO is the North American member of VSO International.
This is a worldwide partnership of Voluntary Service Organizations (VSOs) based in the UK, the Netherlands, Kenya and the Philippines, as well as Canada, all committed to fighting poverty in developing countries.
Our approach involves bringing people together to share skills and promote international understanding - read some of our volunteers' life-changing stories. From grassroots community groups to government ministries, we are rigorous in selecting our partner employers, and do our best to ensure that they can help volunteers like you be effective.
Solidarity, not just service
VSO International and its member organizations aren’t just about volunteering overseas. You can help us build a fairer world much closer to home. You can use your voice and your power as a citizen and consumer to help build a fairer world. CUSO-VSO wants to give North Americans the information, the experiences and the tools they need to become active global citizens.
